Emergency whistle

Shouting tires you quickly when you need to be heard. This tool plays a loud, pulsed whistle at 3–4 kHz from your phone. A real whistle needs no battery, so keep one in your kit too.

Sound pattern
  • Turn your phone’s volume all the way up. On iPhone the silent switch can mute it.
  • Do not hold the phone close to your ear; the sound can damage hearing.
  • The screen stays on while it plays.
